All virus will be removed when you perform a format but so will all your data so you must backup everything you need to keep first. Incase some of your files are carrying the virus you must remeber to isntall antivirus software before copying your files back.

Steps:
1) Get your network drivers - It is very important you have your network drivers and internet connection settings so after you format you can connect to the internet and download what you need. If you dont have them you may have to go to a friends house to downlaod them.

2) Backup your data- we recommend the use of a portable storage drive.

3) Format - To format you need to insert your windows installation cd the restart your computer and boot from the cd.(To boot from the cd you may need to change your bios setting to boot from a cd to do this press delete when the computer first starts)
